International Preschool Curriculum

 International Preschool Curriculum

The curriculum is methodology-independent, teacher-friendly,  and can be used as an adjunct to an existing program or implemented as a stand-alone comprehensive.

The digital curriculum library provides on-demand activities related to the textbooks and deliberately covers the domains and subdomains.  Overlays include discipline, kindness, SDGs, and right actions or social skills.

Artboard 4

Experience the power of a student-centered approach with Liberty Education's Preschool Curriculum, meticulously designed to align with the California Framework. Our curriculum fosters a comprehensive learning environment that nurtures critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. We recognize the importance of early literacy skills and mathematics, embedding these elements to cultivate language development and logical thinking. Our curriculum seamlessly integrates science exploration, encouraging natural curiosity and discovery. Moreover, we value social-emotional development, nurturing essential life skills and character building. Embrace the Liberty Education experience — a perfect embodiment of the California Framework, designed to deliver a high-quality educational experience that primes your child for success.

Curriculum Design

A high quality curriculum encourages children to learn for themselves and that has been Liberty's goal since inception. The curriculum is designed to introduce language arts(listening, speaking, comprehension), beginning mathematics, and includes science in all levels. Other domains are introduced but we suggest that curricular decisions take into account behavior and learning needs, linguistic and cultural backgrounds, as well as teachers’ prior training and experience and need for ongoing professional development.

Student-Centered Learning

“Student-centered” refers to a wide variety of methods and approaches intended to address the learning needs, interests, or cultural backgrounds of individual students and groups of students. To accomplish this goal educators and specialists employ a variety of methods, from modifying instructional strategies to entirely redesigning the ways in which students are grouped and taught. Liberty Education’s curriculum provides for this type of flexibility in that it is appropriate as a ‘core’ curriculum or that can be integrated (or segregated) from other themes and domains depending on needs and circumstances.

Digital Curriculum Library

DCL Website

The Digital Curriculum Library(DCL) leverages technology with a human touch to provide teachers with the structure and content to deliver a world class preschool curriculum with an intense focus on early literacy and early numeracy. The DCL is available for all titles, guides for teachers are available online, and phone-ready for delivery to homes and  rural areas; furthermore, it is scalable across districts and regions. The curriculum and textbooks, complemented with the DCL, provides a rigorous and in-depth academic experience. In addition to enhancing language skills and mathematics, the student is also introduced to science for all levels.  The aim of the wider curriculum is whole child development and to prepare the student for success in primary school and beyond.

Teacher-friendly; Easy to Implement

“Teacher-friendly’ in our context means the curriculum is uncomplicated to implement. If teachers do not have an educational background that provides a foundation in early childhood development or early childhood pedagogy, a curriculum can be difficult to implement. Thus, in situations where teacher experience is lacking then a ‘scripted’ curriculum can override such difficulties by providing clear directions, examples, and sequences that are to be used by all teachers and for all students.  This method assures that all development goals and academic domains are covered by the teacher.

Skills-based Learning Domains

  • Language and Literacy

    READING & WRITING

The early years are critical for literacy development. From phonics and pre-reading to writing in our older students, your child's journey to developing important literacy skills and a love of reading is what Liberty Education's preschool  curriculum will  provide.  The content and learning objectives are age-appropriate and support dual language learning environments.

  • Mathematics & Logic

    EARLY NUMERACY & LOGIC

Early exposure to mathematics develops logic, reasoning, and leads to the development of problem-solving skills that will apply to other domains in academics and life.

The curriculum has a focus on numbers and every-day life to give meaning to the world around the young learner.

  • Creative Arts

    IMAGINATION AND THE ARTS

Visual and creative arts including music and dance stimulate the imagination and creative thinking.  We offer hands-on activities with stimulating content-rich lessons to encourage early arts and creative skills development.

  • Adaptive Learning Styles

    Developing Healthy Individuals

Each child learns in a different way. Some children are more aural and some are more visual. We provide teachers with the tools and guidance to liberate a child's natural curiosity while building problem-solving and life skills together with confidence.

  • Physical Development

    HEALTHY BODIES, HEALTHY MINDS

Active adults begin as active children.  We show your child fun ways to practice balance and motor skills with time to slide, climb and run on our age-appropriate playgrounds and learning spaces.

  • Social & Emotional

    ATTITUDES & BEHAVIORS

Emotional intelligence leads to future success. We strive to integrate the development of social and life skills along with character development into daily routines.
